The Friends of Binney Park will hold its Annual Meeting on Wednesday, January 17th at the Sound Beach Firehouse in Old Greenwich. The meeting room is on the second floor and parking is available behind CVS. We hope you will join us to help us celebrate our first successful year working on Binney Park matters.
The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 PM and will present attendees with some Binney history shared by Old Greenwich resident Helen DeLago, who was Mrs. Binney’s nurse. A presentation about the special trees in the park by Lisa Beebe will follow. Finally, we will announce the winner of our very special turtle naming contest.
Light refreshments will be available during the gathering.
Additionally, we will share with everyone a brief summary of our accomplishments over the past year and seek input from all about what we might consider doing more of in the year ahead.
The first 50 members through the door will be offered a complimentary copy of the new January 2024 issue of Old Greenwich & Riverside Neighbors magazine containing a cover story featuring the Friends of Binney Park.
Finally, we will ask those at the meeting to vote on the slate of individuals running for the 2024 Board of Directors. Those nominated for Board positions appear below.
